 Warning about Peace Nitro-Drive Double Pedals
I bought these before I knew almost anything about drums, and I want to put out a warning for anyone considering them - the left side beater mount will loosen to the point of wobbling after a day or so of playing. It is possible to tighten them with the included allen keys but they always loosen again.
Really regret buying them and I wish I'd bought some Pearl Eliminators to match the rest of my kit.

sorry to dig this thread up but, i have to comment here!
I own the the single pedal version and have to say, i love it. had it for 2 1/2 years now and it has never let me down.
in the UK they cost around £60 for a single and that is VERY cheap for a decent pedal! it has a good, solid build, double chain drive and is very smooth and strong and well built IMO.
ive never played a double version so dont really know about the problems you are experiencing, but, i would reccomend them as a single pedal!!!

The other two problems I found most vexing were the fact that the screw for tightening them is not height adjustable and is way too close to the spring, so you can't tighten it past a certain point, making it slide off my kick hoop... The other one was that the springs are locked inside the pedal and you can't remove them without a screwdriver, so you have to store the pedals under tension. There are other things that frustrate me too though... The adjustment rod between the slave and main pedal only has one lock point, so it extends a pretty short and unsupported distance... The main problem was the slave beater coming constantly loose, though. YMMV, if you're happy with them, I'm glad.
They were a really good pedal to learn on, for me, and I still use them at school as my practice pedals, but the Iron Cobras are exponentially better and I absolutely love them. Only thing I'd give them up for would be a pair of Axis Longboards (in classic black) or a pair of those classy new Trick pedals...

well, im sorry to hear all that! im not sure what you mean about the spring though, on my single, i can just un-hook the spring with ease, no tools required!?!?
