the ride is dry, with quick decay..
so it doesn't get to over powering with playing
but it nice and loud
the bell is awesome and cuts through the rest of the cymbal if that makes sense
but complements the ride
the hi hats and are different then any others i've played
but definitely in a good way
they're loud when played open
but soft and dry when played close
with a nice quick chick that get the point across
without being to much like most hats i've played

Very nice guy. I like the looks of the hats. The hammering looks way different to me.

The pictures look like my Earthworks too. Maybe a little darker.

The only thing I'm getting from Black Mist is a 12'' splash. Everything else is Voodoo, Mist-X, Earthworks, and Glory.

I like saluda, but a lot of their cymbals look like they were rusted over and buried in dirt. yet I still love them, sigh, such is the nature of an obsessive compulsive drummer.

Well then, it sounds like the Mist X is more up your alley.

how does that china sound? im looking for a quick, trashy china without the chinese style bell and saluda is looking like a good option...i already have a mist x crash that sounds great.

the one in the picture is an earthworks china
it's a little more shallow then normal
so it's a little faster and less trashey then a normal china should be
but i have a 18" and a 12" voodoo pre aged chinas and they sound really good
trashey low and quick
i highly recommend them
