 Saluda's New Symbolic Series
Since this drum forum has been so good to us, we will make the first announcement and break the secret of the secret series. The new name is the Symbolic series. Many of you may have received these cymbals in trades so the look might not be anything new.
So, what is the secret? This is our most customizable series. You can purchase these in a random design or YOU can tell us how you want each cymbal designed! You tell us how you want the stripes and we will do it.
This is recommended for the following genres of music: deep jazz, jazz, funk, fusion, pop, country, light rock and bedroom jamming!
Here are the first pictures:
The bottom side will be available in the following finishes: traditional, Earthworks, brilliant, Diamond, black diamond (shown) and Black Mist.

Wow, very nice. Would you suggest these over the Ion's that we talked about?

These can get the sound you want as well. It is a matter of which style you want.

You can email us for a price list and then compare the prices. They are priced a little more than the Definitive Jazz series so you can use that as a reference.

These look sweet! Thanks for giving us a sneak preview of these cymbals Jamie. I'll have to look into them.

The stripes are the raw, unlathed portions of the cymbal. They dry out the cymbal, giving it more focus and attack. Also, it raises the stick defenition, especially if you ride on it. A lot more stuff to play with on those cymbals, tons of sounds, textures, and colors to explore.

Kevin or anyone else, have you tried these yet and if so, can you give us some insight?

Hell I did not realize you were out of Columbia. I need to come by and hear these cymbals. Where in Cola is your shop? Let me know so I can officially introduce myself and check them out. Peace on ya!
