The old man has a right to call a dumbass decision for what it was. Same as anyone else has the right to disagree with my opinion.
And really, could anyone else have deleted a thread like you started after it had a dozen posts on it? If I would have been stuck with that,........you should have been stuck with it.

No matter how understanding anyone is to this situation, I still find it unpleasant that we have to do business in this manner. It is something that nags me daily because I know I don't have 100% control over the cymbal foundry work and because I know there are so many people who will never give Saluda a chance because we can't make a cymbal from scratch.
Saluda is definitely not complete yet. We work on cymbal development daily. We have come so far in the past few years (especially the past year), but we have so far to go that it can be discouraging.
Hopefully our custom side of things is what attracts people. There are only two companies in the US that can touch modify a cymbal and we are glad to be one of them. We just hope to be a full cymbal foundry one day that we can even sell blanks to other individuals so they can have fun at the art of making cymbals.

I feel no less interested in doing business with you in the future. PJ, Kevin, and Brian are people whos opinions I value, and based on what they have said, I will be in touch soon. Are you going to make the convention this summer? If so, PM me and we can work some stuff out. It's gonna be a blast!

Well Jamie, I sincerely apologize for this getting a bit out of hand. On the bright side however, people will understand why a Stagg logo might appear on their Saluda cymbals.
Hopefully, I have done enough advertising to people on forum boards and in my town that I have outweighed any losses generated by this confusion. 99% of people I talk to have never heard of the company and I stop at nothing to enlighten them.
Thanks for clearing everything up, Jamie. I hope you frequent us with your presence on this forum board like you do on the PDF .

i have seen countless times people mouthing you for just stating your opinion. almost every occasion, i have found things you have said to be either personal opinion, very accurate, and usually very helpful. alot of people on here give you a hard time, but i respect you a whole lot more than most people on here.
