Wikipedia is one of the worst imformation providers to even look at because the site allows other people to edit other articles in the website. My guess is that somebody made a mistake and didnt mean to write "28". im not really familiar with Lars Ulrich so unless somebody can for sure tell me that that is true then i think somebody just screwedd it up.

Yeah, anyone can edit Wikipedia. Wiki is pretty much a synonym for "do it yourself." Look at any article on there and there is an "edit" link.

According to the Zildiian Artist page he currently uses an A-Zildjian Ping Ride.
His info page on Metallica's website lists all of his cymbals except a ride.

Haha, that made me lol.
And why would you want to use a 28" Ride???? That's just overkill. Not even just finding someone to help you carry it, but you'd need a REALLY REALLY heavy duty stand to hold it.

Or, you can give your backscratcher back to your grandfather, go here:
http://cymbalsonly.com/
email tony and ask him to send Bosphorus an inquiry, and because they hand make every single cymbal, im sure you can get one made

A 30" ride? Might have all the dynamics of a car door.
