What music do you use it for? I'm currently looking at an 18" crash (will use it as a louder ride too), and my next victim will be a ride suitable for harder rock (think guns 'n roses / velvet revolver etc). I need something with an extremely strong and cutting bell, I've been thinking of that Zildjian Giant Bell ride (whatever its name is). Perhaps you'd want to jam around with it a bit, showing it off a little & recording that for me? Wink

I have the Rock Ride on my practice kit, but I use the Ping Ride for gigs and prefer it greatly. I am frequently tempted to spend another hundred on a second Ping just for my practice kit. The Rock Ride has too much wash for me, but I believe the Medium and Sweet rides are progressively even washier. For me the Ping Ride is the ultimate...actually, I will probably upgrade my gig kit to a 22" A Custom Ping Ride.

Stay away from that mega bell ride. If you want a cutting ride with a nice bell the Z custom power ride. I use my rock ride for pratice and venues where we play our heavier sided set list. P.O.Y!
