 15" Mist X Hats
Well, I've decided to try some Saluda's since just about everyone has some and seems to love 'em. Also, i've noticed my Paiste 802 14" hats don't sound too good half-opened, in that sloshly Bonham sound.
Some i've pretty much decided on 15" Mist X hats, but I want to hear some opinions on these.

JB played 15 inchers, and they sounded pretty good. But they were Giant Beats, and 2002's so IDK...

I think 15" is as big as you'd want hi-hats to be. I'm actually looking at 12" hi-hats

BTW, anyone have any sound files, or know where I can find some of more Saludas? The ones Saluda has are kinda limited...

Many cats are using larger and larger hats for recording, because the larger hats are cleaner. Claude Coleman (Ween) uses a pair of 18" crashes as hats for recording.
There are several videos available that feature Saluda cymbals. Many of them have been posted here on DML in other conversations. I have 3 posted, you can find them here: http://youtube.com/user/pagan31569
