 Hi-Hats
I just broke my first hi-hat today and so my parent allows me to buy a new pair ! It's really hard to ship or order items here and also I really need them quite fast so I'll just go for the ready stocks in the nearby music shops. There are few choices for me to choose, so here they are: 13"-14" A Custom Hi-Hat, 13" A Custom Mastersound (Probably), 13.24" K Hybrid, or 13" K Mastersound.
I play mainly play rock and jazz type of music, but sometimes also plays the others. I really don't know what to buy and so I really need opinions. If this helps, my current cymbal setup consists of 20" A Ping Ride, 17" A Custom Fast Crash, 16" ZBT Crash, 11" K Hybrid Splash, 18" ZBT China and 14" ZBT hihat (which now has a long crack on it )... Thanks...

For versatile styles of music I would stick with the A's. The K's would be my second choice. Good luck. P.O.Y!

I'd say go with the A's too.
Maybe the 13" A Customs?

One more thing... I also heard that 13" is good for jazzing and 14" for rocking. So which one to choose??? Or should I take the 13.25" K Hybrid which has the control of 13" hihat and power of 14"(from www.zildjian.com). I seriously don't know what to choose now!

I have a pair of 14" A Custom hats that I use and they're pretty nice. I think I would get some 14" mastersounds if you could but you only listed 13" A customs. I would go with the 14" A Customs or the 13" K Mastersounds.

i got the 13" K mastersounds and if your play alot of jazz you cant beat them. They fit in well with rock too. Although taking into consideration your current cymbal setup the A mastersounds would probably mix a bit better. Nice and bright

your best bet are the 14s. they're going to be way more versatile.
if you're playing rock music, you won't be happy with 13s.

So which type of it?? I think that 14" A custom is too bright for me so I want something darker.

Nonsense. I play 13" HHX Stage Hats and have never been disappointed them them...even during metal shows.
I'd say to get 13" K Custom Dark hats.

I play metal and I use 13" a custom mastersound hihats as my main hats. and the same thing in 14" fixed open on the right side of my kit. i love them both. bright crisp clean yet powerful. it really depends on what your looking for. I dont know how you could be debating between a customs and K's. I would think the delema would be more "should i get zildjian a customs, sabian aax's or meinl mb 10's" or " should i get zildjian k's, sabian hhx, or meinl mb20's"
Your choice is easy. youv already narrowed it down. if you want bright cymbals get the bright ones. if you want dark cymbals get the dark ones. if you want either pair to have a cleaner, crisper, more defined sound then get the mastersound version.

Go with the A customs, I love the K's but your cymbal setup is pretty bright.
