What is the best thing to use to remove the stick marks from the rubber cymbals on the roland Vdrums (i.e. the pd-9 and cy-15R Cymbals)???

Stick marks are getting a little thick and I dont want to use anything damaging....

Stick marks are getting a little thick and I dont want to use anything damaging....

3M makes a rubber cleaning/conditioning spray. Works great and keeps the rubber moist to avoid cracks etc...
