you can use loads of big diameters for crashes! ian paice has 22" and 24" 2002 crashes!

i think thin bright cymbals are probly the best thing you can get for metal. akot of people think thick cymbals are the ones that are suited for metal. but thats mostly the tpye of people that bash the crap out of theyre cymbals with no reguard for techique or how musical theyre plates are

Alot of people break cymbals and think theyre not good, and switch to some deafiningly loud, clangy thick cymbals and think theyre doing themselves a favor.

No pro quality cymbal will ever break because theyre junk. if your breaking alot of cymbals it because you have improper technique

yeah derek isnt with sabian anymore he's now signed with meinl signed july 2007. but yeah he used to use vaults
