www.drumfoundry.com

never ordered shells or lugs from them... but they've got some nice stuff and they're easy to work with...

plus they have building tools...

their lugs map is quite handy.

i was also going to mention that one.

timekeep, have you ever used ego lugs? im planning on trying my hand at building because i have some custom ideas that i want to work with (and ill be getting help with edges/beds on a snare from a guy who knows what hes doing) and i really like the ego flat top lugs. they look better than any other lugs ive seen (theyre a lot like spaun's actually) and they seem like they would function better. any word on them?

www.egodrumsupply.com is their site, and they have more than just lugs there too...most hardware youd need for a drum.

Yeah, I've been meaning to add their site here. Their lugs are heavy duty. I've been happy with them every time I've used them.

lol, ahhh damn you!

I got enough to do my floor tom because i'm impatient, i had to drill the holes in the shell larger so they would fit. I felt like i was gonna have a panic attack, one wrong move and there goes my floor tom! turned out i need longer tension rods anyways, lol...so i'm out of a floor tom till i get some.

Thanks for this thread! I've got nothing to add but that. Good sites to hit up, and I think I've found legs for my floor tom. It might be too big, though..

There's lots of 'drum supplies' in the UK, new, vintage etc etc, you just have to spend a little time searching them out. Also, don't forget Europe, there's a few online places that deliver to the UK quite cost effectively.

That means that the bearing edges are cut.

I thought it meant the drum came with neatly cut evergreen bushes growing around it......
