 How do drum mics work?
Obviously, i know how a microphone works! What im asking is, where do you plug all the mics into? Into a computer, or what?

Either a mixing board and then into an interface or straight into an interface like the PreSonus FirePod.

I have a Lexicon Omega desktop recording studio. I would plug all my drum mics into a mixing board, and put the output of my mixing board into one of the channels on the interface. The interface hooks up to the computer via usb

i use a mackie 1604 vlz-pro mixer into a digi 003 interface which then runs into pro-tools le, works great for me and extremely portable
