Post Help!! (with snare lugs)
i have a piccalo snare drum, and i've wanted to replace the lugs and rims with brass counterparts. I can find brass hoops well enough, but the lugs are getting tricky. Does anyone know where to find double ended lugs that are 1 1/16" from hole to hole? or, is there any way to circumvent this problem by drilling new holes into the steel shell?
Thanks!

Go to drummaker.com and check out their lugs, when you click on a lug style they have the hole-to-hole measurements listed.

yes, belive me i've measured it many times. its very frustrating.
and i dont belive drummaker has any of those sizes. i might have to settle for single tension lugs

Email them about the Bowtie piccolo lug. It may be close if not exact.
If they're 1" instead of 1 1/16th, you can drill the holes a little bigger to make them fit.

Part # 5182

Whats you recommendation on single tension lugs. I heard they can warp the drum.
And are there any with only one hole per lug?
