Tama sticks were made by Vater to Tama's specs for a short time. They have since vanished from their catalog and finding any more might be tough. Tama marketed them pretty well under the "Power Tools" ad campaign but they didn't sell well enough and were discontinued. Vater makes similar, if not identical models to the old Tamas today, including the Tama "Billy Club" model, which is now called the Vater "Nightstick" model. Vater, in addition to Vic Firth had Oak versions, but they never sold well enough to beat the industry leader in Oak sticks, Pro-Mark.
