Not sure where to put this. But, the snare wires aren't coming into contact w/ the reso head and I've pulled them as tight as I can. No good. I think the stock throw off may be the problem. Any models compatible with the rockstar snare, or any suggestions you guys could give me would be appreciated.

theres a setting that ajusts how much the snare come into contact when thay are engaged. its usually a round knurled knob on the top of the throwoff. if thats loos you snare wont come into contat with the head even when you flip the throwoff

Check to make sure the snare wires aren't installed upside down, this can cause the wires to lift away from the head.

new throwoff it is. Cheap steel snares sound good when you crank them.
