hey guys im just wondering about the ziljian zht rock pack. i saw this pack at guitar center,sam ash well duh, the pack is a 20in rock crash,16rock crash,14 in rock hi hats, and it also comes with a free 14 in. fast crash. I play rock,metal,punk,classicrock around that genre. I was just wondering if anyone has any experiance with these. im wondering about heaviness,durabily, and attack. I dont have the money at the moment for A customs but [b]are these zht's worth the money? jw here

I don't think so. Sheet bronze cymbals are beginner sets, even zxt. Hit the pawnshops, craigslist and ebay. you may be surprized how much bronze is out there. Just my oppinion, used good gear is 10 times better than new junk.

I have some ZBT rock pack and just regret of what i bought.All bronze sheet cymbals is not good!! I tried some ZXT and think that they aren't too good. Go to ebay and get higher class cymbals like the A customs or something like it...

Newbie to the forum today,

I've purchased the ZHT cymbal pack but it wasn't the rock pack. I returned them the next day!!! Save your money and buy a cymbal at a time thru ebay. Vintage cymbals and their prices blow away anything new right now IMO. They'll cost you about $500 by the time you're done but won't regret it and they wont go down in value! Get a Zildjian 50's 22" ride for about $200 (they're hot right now but worth it! I own two right now and they're my babies!), a 16" thin crash $90, a set of Sabian regular hats $100-120 or Zildjian New Beats $120 and maybe an 18" crash. GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME
