Post One of my first videos
This is one of my first videos.

It's to The Start Of Something Beautiful by Porcupine Tree-- this song is mostly in 9/8 except for the chorus and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person on youtube with a drum cover.

Although the start is shaky, I'm proud of this video anyway

and here's the same video with my drum track volume turned up

when i was a drum noob i put on the reso on the wrong side and my bass drum beater made a big dent in it so i've always been embarrassed to put it back on. between when i made that vid and now i put it back on and it sounds so much better haha

Nice vid, man, you definitely nailed that song. Smile

BTW, is your larger rack tom from another set or something, cause it's just black

thanks!

the rack tom that you're noticing is black... isn't black... and it also isn't my larger rack tom. my toms are out of order. the top left is the mid tom, top right is the smallest tom, and bottom right (floating) is the largest tom.

my toms are all from the same kit, it must just look like that b/c of the angle/lights

I'm sorry...

I'm such a crackhead. I don't know why I said largest, I meant the smallest. Wow.

Anyways, yeah, In the vid it looks black, I guess it's just shadows.

i used to have my toms set up like that.

and about the reso, everybody has to start somewhere. consider it a learning experience. Wink

i would like to post some video's but im to big of a newb at stuff like that. i would have to have the camera outside of my practice building for it to be quiet enough..
