The entire ZHT series is made from a B12 bronze alloy, as opposed to the B8 of the ZBT and ZXT.
At the moment, I have a pair of 14" ZHT mastersounds and 2 medium thin crashes, and i can tell you, they sound MUCH better than the lower end lines of sheet cymbals (ZBT's specifically, which is what i upgraded from). If youre looking into buying them, theyre a good sounding alternative to most of Zildjians higher end lines without being so expensive.

i used to have them. i didnt like them much atall. they were so loud, and the feel wasnt very good. when played shut they dont sound crisp atall and sound and feel pretty terrible when open. it could just be my tatse. ive played and recorded with A custom master sounds and they feel nothing atall like the zht mastersound. i have z custom hats and k hats. both are 13's and are a compleatly different level of controlled sound. thats just my opinion.

I never tried the ZHT Mastersounds, but I had a complete set of ZHT cymbals including hi hats, ride, crashes, china at one time and I absolutely hated them and got rid of them as soon as I could aford it. They really don't seem any better than Sabian B8's or ZBT/ZXT's in my mind -- they are still sheet cymbals and nowhere near the professional sound you'd get from A or A Custom (or AA, AAX if you go Sabian).
Cymbals are musical instruments and if you are a serious musician you really need a serious instrument. To me any sheet cymbal is more of a toy than an instrument.
