That projecct is Roadrunner United.
The song is Annihilation by the Hand of God
what Roadrunner Records did was grabbed a bunch of the musicians from different bands signed to their label and then sorted them into teams.
there are also captains:
- Robert Flynn (Machine Head) - Team Captain
- Matt Heafy (Trivium) - Team Captain
- Dino Cazares (ex-Fear Factory) - Team Captain
- Joey Jordison (Slipknot) - Team Captain

Some pretty good songs on there. the album is called the Allstar Sessions.


Anyway, my personal sentence.
Derek Roddy is a massivly hyped drummer too... except he deserves it as he is what people say he is

man i hate the singing in that song, and dont really like the song a heap at all, but i always loved that drumming in the verse, and i didnt know that was JJ, cheers.

Theres nothing wrong with him at all.

People just seem to love moaning about him.

Hes brilliant at playing the music he plays. his stuff for slipknot is perfect for what they need!

I mean i agree, hes not the best metal drummer out there. but does it really matter who's the best?

Hes got his flaws, just like every drummer has.

but he does what he needs to do for his music very well.

and thats what counts.

thats just sort of a mute. you'll see some guys put socks on the top of theyre guitars. the wristband looka alot better.

JJ is just another metal drummer to me. He is not unique. He is very orrated and gained popularity and fame from kids just getting into the metal scene and evolving from Slipknot --> to heavier stuff (Nile, Hate Eternal). Some of them keep interest in Joey and stay narrow minded about every other metal drummer. For example, they go on Derek Roddy videos and post "Zomg, he izz sloppiezz! Joey is bettrr!!!!?!?"

yeah. that is what annoys me.
