no but ive heard them. they sound like b8s and are indeed made of b8 bronze. I can't believe they are selling a b8 crash for $200.

Haven't used them but heard them. In my opinion they sound pretty terrible.
Sabian doesn't really have a cymbal that is very comparable to the Z-custom line and I think they tried to come up with something and here pops up apx.
They pretty much just made a thick, loud, disc that is more appealing to metal/hardcore players. Not saying Z-custom sounds good, I don't like Z-custom's at all either but the z's sound better than these.

a lot of paistes are also made of b8. I'ts not a bad metal at all, just a different sound.
based on the sound clips I've heard, I really don't like the apx. I like more versatility and darker sounds. But that's just me.

yea, i thought the 2002s (which i think sound great) were b8, but i wasnt sure. what i meant was i coulnlt believe they were selling a cymbal similar in sound to the Sabian B8s for $200.
