Definitely get a gong. And if you have money left over, get another gong. You can invite two friends over to hold them in the air and you could be like.....
GONG!!!!
GONG!!!!
GONG!!!!
I mean come on, who do you know that has two gongs?? The answer is no one...... no one but you.

Please pass the popcorn. Isn't ordering cymbals online sacreligious? Shouldn't you play 900 before you find the right one?

If i buy cymbals from my country i will have to sell my house(Lol-very expensive)and also we don't have much to test some;p
So, i play rock and metal and i'll buy 1 pair of Hi hats and 2 crashes.....I like the cymbal will be like zildjian's a customs and i think of getting them...
Any other suggestions>>>?

The difference is the weight/thickness of the cymbal, stage cymbals are a little heavier.

I must apologize. I took my sarcasm to an unneccesary level. The truth is I've ordered every cymbal I own, sight unseen. I'm aware that it's better to play test things before you buy them but that isn't very convenient. Best of luck.

yeh, I meant nothing about the popcorn thing...I was just saying that ordering cymbals without playing them or having some first hand exposure to them can be a hot mess when they show up and sound NOTHING like you were expecting.
but if cymbals are outragious overseas as I remember them to be you are best ordering through the US...especially as our dollar looks more and more like it should come in a certain board game made by Hasbro.
Definately start w/a pack...the one linked above looks like a great deal, to be honest w/you.

I agree. If you go with a cymbal pack you'd like to think they were sonically matched at the factory by someone.

Good thing my family owns three of those games. I'm Rollin'!
And why we own three is a mystery to me. We just do. Crazy family.
