 Symbolic!!!!
I finally got my Symbolic 8'' Splash (no Symbolic logo on cymbal). Traded in my Zildjian A Custom 6'' Splash for it. I am SO glad that I did! I love this splash! It is currently my favorite cymbal from Saluda! I highly recommend the Symbolic series.

Yeah, totally! The strips of raw kinda gleam at angles, so it looks like granite. 100% awesomeness!!!

That's nice! How much was it?
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm stupid. That's a really cool splash thought!

Looks like it. I know the 218 is the weight in grams. Mine have the same markings.

Yes, on some of Saluda's cymbals, the weight (in grams) and size (in inches) is written on the bottom.

Am I retarded? I don't see the Symbolic Series on drumgearonline. Is it a special series? Prototype?

Yeah, they just haven't updated cuz they're lazy. Just kidding. But they still haven't updated the pages. You can order them now, though.

Jamie's had a picture of my Symbolic Ride for a couple weeks now, and he's yet to put the pictures up... I may post pictures later today if I have time.

Found the picture. From inside to outside, it's a Raw Bell, Diamond Stripe, Earthworks Stripe, Glory Stripe. As you can see, it is labeled as an Earthworks cymbal, so it is apparently based on an Earthworks. The underside is all Earthworks finish, too. It sounds great, and I think it could be used for any style of music, except perhaps metal.

That looks amazing! I want to get some Symbolic stuff with different stripes. Mine's just raw and brilliant.

It's an awesome looking cymbal though... I think I might trade in my 12" A custom splash I never use... Hmm...

wow, i imagine it sounds as good as it looks? the bosphorus antique series has the same look to it, as far as the two unlathed patterns on it, and they sound heavenly as well

I'm thinking about a 19" Crash with A Pattern from bell to bow of
Mist X-Bell/
Diamond/
Mist X/
Diamond/
MistX/
And another 19" Inner Half Mist X outer half Diamond to Complement it
