i have a meinl bell
really nice in my opinion
about a third of the price of zil bells so if you are on a budget go for it

i got a zil-bel a few months back. i kinda wish i had bought a meinl instead, but i am satisfied with the zil-bel. it just rings too much, not a quick ride bell sound. it does cut through guitars very well.

if you get the zil-bel don'tt get the 9.5 one. rings FOREVER. the 6 is very good, not quite as loud as i would like though. they need a bell size/thickness right in the middle of the two.

I've got an old LP Ice Bell. How do these compare to that?

I'd be inclined to say Zil-Bells, as I'm a huge Zildjian fan. That being said, I don't actually have ANY bells on my set, but those are the kind I'd buy.

Dude the 9.5 Zill-bel is massive I saw it last night at a battle of the bands. Oh I wish I had a stick to hit it with. I want one now. or a Ride with a bell just as massive.

Meinl Bell. If you can't find one I'd also look into a Sabian Alu-Bell. I've played a few of those, and they are amazing
