Hey, guys, I recently watch a video of Akira Jimbo who uses drum trigger.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbVonLvGc8I) Can I use the Alesis TK-5 acoustic triggers to make those kind of midi sounds? How bout the Module? Is Alesis DM5 good enough?

Alesis DM5 is almost like the standard for drum triggering. It's really good.

And yes, you can use any kind of trigger to trigger your drums.
