HAHA actually it's a piece of crap CB MX series. Entry level. I've replaced all the lugs and hoops; heads; I've taken the wrap off of them. I've upgraded my snare to a PDP Maple. I have mostly Zildjian ZBT series. 13" hats, 14" crash, 20" ride, 18" crash/ride, 18" china. My kit was originally a 5 piece, but I like it as a 4 piece with the added on djembe for acoustic type work. I know about all the stigma with POS entry level starter kits, but the bearing edges on my drums aren't THAT bad. And now that I've taken off that crappy wrap and replaced all the lugs, the drums sound halfway decent. Actually, the drummer for the band we were opening up for that night came up to me after and wanted to know what kind of kit it was as well. He was surpised to learn it was entry level and I had only paid $130 for it initially. I don't like bragging all that much, but I'm living proof that it's not all in the equipment. If you know what yer doing, you can tune a cardboard box...

Nice! Do you play the djembe with the sticks? I've thought about doing that but thought it was probably bad to play them with sticks...

Nah, I don't play the djembe with sticks. I play with my hands. We have some acoustic type songs that sound really great with the djembe.

You're not the only one who noticed the cone. It was a kiosk. They were selling icecream out of it. And I bet it was hot in there.
LOL. It does look good enough to eat...

Thanks man. I'm still procrastinating on exactly what shade I want to stain my drums. Right now they're just the wood and hardware. I know, I know. I'm such a slacker!
