 coffee table drum
I am trying to find some info on making a coffee table drum. I saw one made on TV he used (tobanga wood?) and maple plywood. It had holes in the bottom for sound. Want to make one for a friend. Thank You Rickie

It was a table made out of maple and bubinga, it was hollow inside and had a hole in the bottom. It was basically a big Cajon drum.

To have a table that can double as a drum.

what would the point be? ummm lets see, having a table thats quite literally a drum. that would be so awesome. i bang on tables all the time, well i bang on nething really, and if my coffee table was actually a drum it would be so cool.

Sounds like a cool concept. I'd take one if somebody gave it to me.
