ok im going to by a new cymbal soon (meinl byzance traditional medium ride), something i can crash on ;D and i don't know if I want to get a 21" or a 22". I see more drummers of my favorite bands using the 22" but the 21" is thirty bucks cheaper. Does anyone know the difference (if there is a major one) between the two sizes? and why is the extra inch worth thirty bucks more?

ok that makes sense. Is a one inch difference really that much different sound wise?

it will just be a little darker toned. the 21" will just be a little brighter.
