the funniest on ive seen is where the rest of the stick broke away from the butt.
so there was just a small stumpy butt left.

Looks like that was knot a very good stick. *buh-dum-pish*
I broke a stick from the shoulder to the butt once. Split right down through my hand. I saved it, but my wife threw it away.

lol, i just can't get myself to throw away broken drumsticks or drum heads that have long out-lived their normal life.
i have a huge box full of drum heads, drumsticks, and cymbals that are no longer any good.
and drumsmywife, that seems hard to top lol. how did that happen?

i've had that happen. about 1.5" was sticking up from the rest of the stick. those are some of the coolest breaks.

i've actually had a weird one i just remembered, if anyone knows of those zildjian sticks that are really thing and have rubber inside (or at least inside the end) once the bottom of those cracked off, on 2 of the pair within a week, i think they just must of reached their limit.

yeah i know, but it probably wouldn't be a whole lot of credit, and it would probably cost just as much as i would get for shipping.

i can sell you cymbals for very cheap, as i am very poor right now, and i bought all this stuff myself, it would be a shame to pay to ship something to you and further waste my money.
what are you looking for, and i will tell you what i have.

My Ahead 5A's were doing fine and I was doing like a roll or something and broke in half in the aluminum part inside of the stick on my floor tom pad. I was going hyper speed!

I broke a stick and there was only a stub at the butt end of the stick and the rest went flying and hit my guitarist in the back of the head!
