Post Wraps
Does anyone know a good site to find drum wraps

i have a Pearl ELX 7 piece kit and its got scratches galore from giggin out alot when i didnt have cases Sad i love the finish but would like it to look better i hate looking at the scratches is there a way to find a wrap similar to the one i already have (its a purple to black fade i think its called midnight fade)

any help would be appreciated most sites i've found don't really have what i'm looking for

if it's a fade I don't think it's a wrap. if it is, I'm pretty sure that it would be exclusive to pearl since I haven't ever seen fade wraps. I say just do it in a different color...won't look the same but snares don't have to match the kit.

Anavrin is right, it's probably a lacquer, look and see if there is a seam, if there's no seam, it's a lacquer and you're better off re-wrapping it.

As far as places for wrap:

www.rockenwraps.com

its pearl midnight fade finish. thats a laquor job. just pick out the most badass wrap you can find. its tottally acceptable for your snare not to match your kit. anything else being a different color is going into jelly bean territory

yes, wrap will fit over the lacquer but leave about a quarter inch gap between the wrap and the edge of the drum so the heads and hoops fit properly, sometimes if you don't leave that gap the head pushes against the wrap and causes it to warp.
