had an acrylic kit but i sold it.

nice drums, but they were really heavy and they scratched and scuffed too easy.

i sold it on ebay and took a bath.

contemplated buying another kit, but figured i could make my own for half the price.

old pic but i still play the drum. right now it's my only snare. bought it at guitar center almost 2 years ago and love the sound...loud, dry, and very cutting.

Not a whole kit, but I do have this 13x7 16-ply split snare. Used as my main snare for over 2 years. Incredibly loud and cutting. My bandmates' ears aren't exactly sad that I don't use it much any more.

you know, drums sometimes DO talk to me sometimes. all my pearls do is complain. spauns are quite humble.

If all works out and I'm able to make the DRT, this will be my companion. I'll just throw it out there that anybody who plays blast beats and/or ghost notes with any frequesncy should own one of these drums. Absolutely amazing.

I always liked Spauns but never felt like shelling out the cash to purchase one.
