Post How To Properly Cut A Cymbal
Sometimes I find myself going into used music shops and seeing cymbals that are way smaller than the deminsion written on the cymbal. I also have several cymbals laying around that have small cracks around the outside. Does ANYBODY know how to properly cut around the cymbal to save it?

bad idea.

it will completely screw up the sound of your cymbal if you're not careful. the heat generated from cutting it can alter the molecular structure of the metal.

You could send it to Saluda, and they'll professionally cut it down for you for $22.

I use Ludwig Drums, Sabian/Saluda Cymbals.
But I want to use Hero Custom Drums, Medicine Man Drums, all Saluda Cymbals.
