Yeah truth is run by guys with Christian beliefs, and the rule of thumb is to give 10% of your wages back to the church. Or something along those lines.
As far as the topic at hand, I'd love to try a super-multi-ply snare, but not for half of the cost that PJ is looking for for the diamond plate kit he is selling...............drool.

The thinnest I've done is a 6 ply. You could probably go down to a 4 or 5 ply.
