 Good deal?
I found this little nugget on ebay tonight. Funny thing is that this is the drumset I bought on ebay last fall and never received (I've got a post on that somewhere on the forum). The "one of a kind" description is accurate; JT (VP of Trick) verified that for me when I explained my situation to him. I'm by no means insinuating that this is a scam; Hell, I got my money back after my ordeal so it doesn't bother me any, but this is definitely the same kit. The price is sure to go up in the next 3 days, but someone could get a sweet deal on a kick-ass kit. Just thought I'd share.

That is one sweet kit! And for $1000 that is one sick deal... "one of a kind" trick drums for $1000... if only they would stay that low.

The ebay seller got back to me on this auction and it turns out that he got them from a UPS freight auction after they lost them last September. Please refer to my post on UPS to see how I feel about them. Anyway, anybody looking for a high-end kit should watch this. Hell, I might even try again.

how much did you get it for last time?
and i seem to see alot of people switching their reso heads around like that. what does it accomplish? is it just where they prefer the port hole? i think it looks gay like that, but i see it more and more..

It ran me $3200+ last time and then UPS lost them. as for the reso heads, I can't think of one good reason to do that to them.

the question I have is this: If UPS found the drums, didn't notify the sender, and subsequently sold them, wouldn't that be theft, or at the very least fraud? Couldn't the original owner sue UPS?
