I think I blew up my ipod...
Anyone else had the 80 gig video iPod come up with a sad iPod person, whilst making some very unsettling noises? According to the website I need to go take it in for a "service"... I think it's done for. Not even a year old.
Annoyingly I treat that thing like it's a baby and it's in mint condition from the outside. Perhaps next time I should just throw it around a little and show it who's boss.

Ewwww. The sad face is no good. That happened to an older one I had. Apple told me it was a harware issue. Figured I only paid $100 for that one so I'd just buy a new one instead of getting the old one fixed. Good luck with that Rob!

Anyone else noticed that throwing electronics around seems to make it work if it doesn't get damaged?
I mean... PS2's.. they break, you hit it, it works. My mp3 does that too.

My bandmates have the most ancient ipods ever and they're still going strong!
Sounds like I need to get a new one... DOH!
Sarcasm, you got a good deal, mine was £250!
