Thats why dealing with PJ and Jamie is such a pleasure. I have no stake in what they do or their respective companies...................but if you want to deal with guys that want to sell you WHAT YOU WANT, contact Saluda and/or Medicine Man. Not to take away from Trick, I hear they are the bomb, and the Super Event Co-ordinator for DRT is endorsed by Trick, so, love em, buy em, play em! As far as the delivery services, um, They could be a LITTLE more careful with our shit.

You could probably win the auction for about $1500. Maybe he'll cut you a deal after you win the auction. Of you could win it, pay him, then he'll ship them to you, then you have his address and you go over to his house and beat him to death with the un-used bass drum.

I contacted him & he gave me his number, so I called. He said he bought the drums at a U.P.S. auction in Richmond Virginia (were the u.p.s. claims department is located) If this is true U.P.S. found the kit & never called me to say shit. Anyway I told him it was indeed my kit & explained it was a one of a kind kit that I specially ordered, he replied he is an Honest person & would check with his business parter to e value the situation. Get this later that night I checked on Ebay again & he Updated the Listing with "this is a one of a kind drum kit" what a real piece of work, right. I spoke with him again & he asked me what would be a fair price, I replied whatever you paid for them would be fair for you would not be getting screwed & I can get my kit back ( you know he paid jack for them) He came back with $2,600.00 offer, yeah really nice honest guy. These PEOPLE are no better than U.P.S.!!!! U.P.S. Blows & this planet is filled with sooooooooo much corruption & dishonest people its not even funny. I wish I never sold my kit, I only sold it to upgrade to a New configuration, which I still have not yet been able to do.By the way I did put what I thought was insurance on the kit. I filled out the forms on U.P.S. online. BUT WHAT i FAILED TO KNOW WAS I had to have the driver sign the paper work form for additional insurance (Fine Little Red Print). I was not familiar with this for I usually deal with U.PS. package Division which is much easier. This was my first time using U.P.S. frt. which was presented to me by a U.P.S. rep. who said how great it was. I figured since the boxes were so heavy that it would be great way to ship them on a skid for Chris & he would get the boxes & have less of a chance of getting damaged. Well thats about it in a nut shell, this taut me a HUGE LESSON but has also caused me nightmares. I hope this guy changes his mind & sells me my set back for a small fee but I'm pretty sure we don't live in that world. F#@k U.P.S. , CORRUPTION & DISHONEST PEOPLE.
tell him that you know he didnt spend that much on it and the rest of the story of what UPS did if you havent already. if he still tries to sell it for $2600, it will burn his conscience at the very least if he doesnt lower it after that. we should boycott u.p.s. that is a horrendous way to do business.

you should try to make a new account and get him to send it but not pay for it... that'll show him... even if it doesnt work, stops him from selling it to someone else...

you should call UPS let them know you found your ONE of a kind kit (i mean cmon if its one of a kid you know its yours) on ebay and you contacted the seller and they informed you they bought it at a ups auction and then threaten legal action because they failed to inform you they found it....i use to work on a shipping dock and had to deal with UPS claims assholes all the time usually if you threaten legal action they are much nicer and willing to work with you because they dont want to go that route
and i do alot of business on ebay selling all sized items..im telling you just go through USPS its much easier and they have pretty much the same shit as UPS but cheaper i havent had a problem yet with them.
hope all gets resolved in some way.
and to SoIsTheDrummer...if this dude is trying to rip the poor guy off already i doubt his conscience would suffer much if he did end up winning the auction and selling it to the guy for a much higher price...tis the world we live in...a sick sad place
