Post These drums have served me well
Sold my 90's Premier Rock kit Yesterday. Was a great kit. "If these drums could talk". I recently got Hooked on Rogers XP8's. I bought two kits and am looking for more drums. The Big Red rock drums were just stacked in the corner. These drums Played The Aztlan Theatre, Bangles, 7 south, Alibis. Killed a full house at Iliff Park Salloon on a Monday Night. Did the battle of bands at After The Gold Rush. Played the People Fair several times, A bowling alley in Colorado springs. Piles of basements and back yards. Oh lets not forget the venerable Lions Lair Where the reviewer referred to me as side show Bob. (musta been the hair) Any how I sold them to a guy who's gonna get those bad boys back out there. Play on.

Hell yeah Mercury Cafe. Marilyn Is an interesting lady. How bout the cricket on the Hill We use to get third of the bar there. That was usually a good payer cause my friends are all drinkers. ever played the DMV on Colfax and sheridan? They quit doing shows there after some Rap event went freakin nuts. As a mater of Fact Marilyn stopped doing rock like music for a couple years after a DRI show exploded into violence.

That was actually a Deicide riot. Glenn Benton had a dispute with the promoter and came out said "fuck you we're not playing", then everyone tore the place appart. There were guys running down the street with PA cabinets, cops showed up with tear gas.
Good Times.
I was at the DRI show the next weekend when she said it would be the last show there. The place was already destroyed, DRI was practically just playing on their own stacks with unmiced drums

You heard about the BL 13 incident at the "North Door"/Erberus Music building?

I too saw a show, in Boston where Benton stopped the show halfway through the second song. Unprofessional.
