hey so im thinking in buying drum wrap in the near future. So first, how do i find the durface area of my drums? and when i buy the drum wrap sheet, how should i cut it out?

I see you have a Rockstar too like me. And I can tell you that the wrap doesnt come off very good so be carfull or take it to someone professional to do it. Only problem is that can cost more that buying a kit. So what I did with mine is I used contact paper that looks like wood grain to do my kit and it looks awsome. Even has a finishes shine. I just went over the old wrap cause the paper is thin enough not to mess anything up.

To determine the length of wrap you need, multiply the diameter x Pi. For example if you're wrapping a 14" snare, it would be 14 x 3.14 = 43.96" You want at least a half inch overlap but no more than an inch so you could adjust it it 44.5" and then for the depth, you'll want to cut it a half an inch shorter than the shell depth to leave a quarter inch gap on each side from the wrap to the edge to avoid the wrap interfering with the head and hoops.
