okay so how do you guys put your hi hat stand and double pedals in position. Is the hi hat stand at an angle or what? would be great if you show pics.

So is your high hat pedal infront or behind the drive shaft for the slave? I use my HH pedal a ton and my slave a little so right now my HH is on the outside but I'd love to have it tighter in like before I started using the slave more often.

If you are having trouble getting your hi hat stand closer to you, you might want to look into getting a two legged hat stand.

Yeah the drive-shaft goes over the pedal, but I hardly notice it because it's near the base. In fact, it took me like 3 mins just to remember if it actually was. It's very out of the way, and I use my hats pedal A LOT.

BTW, It's also a two-legged hi-hat stand.

The drive shaft is behind the stand leg and the bass pedal is under the HH leg. I had to turn the stand legs to get the room for my foot but found that it made for a good fit. I will get a pic posted for you. P.O.Y!

I own a double pedal and dont play it for this reason: it gets in the way of my hi- hat stand. I enjoy playing with only a single so the option of double isn't worth the hi-hat discomfort.

I do think the problem would be resolved by a two leged hi hat stand. Those things are tight

With the pedal of the hi-hat stand moved round to fit in my left slave pedal.

(sorry this is the only pic i have of a close up of my hi-hat and kick pedal)

Now that piture is how I'm set up. I do have a DW stand that lets you rotate the legs. I'm gonna fool with the other way tonight. Thanx.

I have the pearl eliminator HH and double pedal so they fit together real easy. The HH has 2 legs that can swivel.

I've tried both to the left and to the right. I prefer to keep it on the right of the hi hat pedal. I also have a two legged stand with a rotatable base so the legs can move and it angles so the hats can come in closer.
