 Your opinions on this set
So I'm looking through craigslist when I come across this posting, please take a look at this kit and tell me if you think the price is fair for the set:

Not a bad deal considering the pedals are worth at least a hundred bucks or better depending on the series. Both floor toms mounted on the same stand kinda bothers me, but all youd have to do is pick up another stand down the road. Is that deal local to you, cus shipping could hurt.

This deal is local to me yes, in the same neighborhood. What I'm interested in knowing about is the swingstar's quality. Can anyone vouch for how good they are compared to a 5 piece Premiere Cabria?

I believe Swingstar is there entry level kit. I sold a very nice birch Premier kit from the 90's in my town for $350 so I would not move to quickly. Good cheap used drums are not hard to find.

It's a solid kit at that price.

26" bass drum? Really? Looks more like a 22", and why is the badge on a different color background? It's worth checking out, and if it SOUNDS good get it, but don't be surprised if it's just a tama sticker stuck on an off brand kit.
