Cool, I do that one a lot! I often use it inside grooves (separating each second bar or so), rocks! Doesn't work well in higher tempos though, but lovely when you're playing like 120bpm and down. I play 'em as sixteenth notes (a broken one that is).

I do that but I will usually do it LRR unless I'm doing them as ghosts on the snare in a backbeat. I usually play the figure as a triplet.

And u can just repeat it if necessary. Thats basically the first roll i learnt and if someone asked me to "do a roll" chances are thats what i would play
