Post A Question
Hey. I'm fairly new to drumming and i'm thinking of expanding my drum set. I wanna get new cymbals but i'm not sure which ones i should buy. I have a crash and Hi-hat. I was thinking my next cymbal should be ride.

But any recomendations?

Get a ride. Go for a used higher-end model that might be dirty rather than a shiny new piece of crap.

AMEN!!! Almost every piece of equipment I've ever bought, excepting bass drum pedals and stands and a cymbal or two , has been used.

Zildjian A Ping is a bad ass ride. Find a used one cause a new one will run $200 or so.

What Billy said. As you develop as a drummer, you'll find the ride much more useful than the crash. A Crash is just for accents but a ride can totally change the sound of your groove .....
