Post Left footed/handed double bass help!
Well I play a left handed setup and me and my dw 5000 are not getting along...
i just cant seem to get the right distance from the batter head, or my springs are too loose (they are tightened all the way) or something.
i have to be doing something wrong here...anyone have any clues as to help?
like the spacing between the two beaters?
HELP! Sad

This is why I say not to tighten springs all the way. Spend the time to find what works the best for you and your needs.

I played DW 5000AH's for over ten years on the out-of-the-box settings. I say get used to the pedals first, and then adjust for comfort. DW's aren't the kind of pedals you should even be worrying about beater distance.
