every aquarian head that i have EVER played hasnt been very good, couldnt get the sound i wanted out of them and they didnt last very long.

but thats just my opinion, im just saying he should try evans, they make a great sounding quality product

can u recommend me a full set from evans that would suit my play type?(rock)

14" snare
22" bass
12,13,16" toms

22" Evans Emad Clear Batter for the bass

Evans G2 Coated for the 12, 13 and 16

and the Evans Genera HD Dry for the 14" snare

no way dude, the HD dry is wayyyyy better than the Emperor head and the Emad is better than the super kick

HD Dry's are pretty nice, thats what I'm using right now. Yeah GabeC, I'd go with an HD Dry or EC Reverse Dot.

EMAD's and SKII's are about equal in my book, but if you wanted Evans all across the board, just go with the EMAD, it's as good if not better than the Superkick.

for sure, i like the super kick, but was more impressed with the emad, i dont really like the emad 2 i guess LOL

Musicians Friend sells tom packs, and tom reso packs, but you have to buy snare heads and bass heads individually.

i havnt used any of those except the remo emperor snare and i was pleased with it but im not sure on which heads are better. what i stated is just what i would get.
