i have a 12x20 music/TV room in the basement where i keep my drums and guitar gear in climate controlled area, when i buy a new house im making a sound proof area as my drums are heard easily from the outside.

In an unfinished addition above my garage. Big area with just insulation, electric, and lighting. Makes for a nice place to record (when there isn't trains going by).

I have my good set down in the basement. Along with about 4 pa's and to much guitar and bass gear. I think I need to start telling people to take their shit home. haha
I also have my crappier kit in my room awaiting the next DIY show I play. I don't trust those kids and my good set. haha.

I have two kits set up at my house in the basement in drum war mode. I have another that I wish someone would buy stacked up and one more at the practice studio. Only one double pedal, 1 ride and one set of hats. Thbose I have to move around.

My Pearl Ex kit lives at one band's rehearsal space, my DDrum Dominion lives at the studio where my other band practices.

My main big kit is in my guitarist's garage where we practice. My small backup kit is in my garage. I take the small kit on road trips and gigs with very small stages that won't fit my big kit.

as of right now i have 2 drum sets and 4 snares stacked in cases and bags in a spare room in my apartment they have temporarily become the tower on which my cats love to navigate. usually i keep them in our private, monthly, rented rehearsal room set up at all times which leads me to another question and i may make a topic out of this but.... the room becomes a bit humid and sometimes i lose sleep over leaving them in there which is the reason why i there at my house now. how long does it take or how bad does it have to actually be for moisture in a humid room to kill your drums?

I have both of mine in my basement, when some friend come over to jam, one has to get stacked in the corner..as its a small basement. But o well..its fun to get on one kit, then walk over to the other one and play on it.

My main kit partially fitted with mesh heads for practice.
For jam sessions I've got a small jamming kit that's portable.

My main kit's right next to me in my bedroom. Another one's packed in cases and bags, kept spread around the house:D And my first kit is at my bassplayers house, but since he's just got a doublebass, there no more space in his room for the drumkit, so I may have to move it to my friends studio in his attic once that's finished.
