i've always said it pie-stee, despite numerous people telling me that saying it like that is incorrect.
looks like THEY'RE wrong. ha.

when i started buying 2002s in high school, i was told pie-stee right away, so that's what i stuck with lol.

See i always thought it was pronounced PIE-STE (like saying paste but replace pa wit pie)
So then there wouldn't be an emphasis of the ee at the end of what most people think is the correct pronounciation

I used to call them paste until a friend said it was paiste now I say paiste.

Pet peeve of mine. I had a co-worker who insisted on saying "Sah-be-on" for Sabian and another one who insisted on saying "As-pee-ray" for LP Aspire products. Both did so because they thought it sounded better, until the rep reamed them out for misrepresentation of the brand names.
hahaha. so is the pie prounced like pie or pee??
