 Paiste Signature Reflector
Hey guys, I'm new here and figured I'd start off saying I'm a Paiste fanatic and love every one of their products.
I personally use the Signature Reflector line and have had a great experience with them thus far. The sound and character of these cymbals are overall shimmering and brilliant in their finish and performance. The one thing that seperates them from the original Sig line isn't only their unique coating, but the dark accent and crystal clear sustain that follows each hit. Here's a pic I took recently, I'll have more up after I add on the 20" SF Reflector Full Ride I bought the other day.
Cheers everyone and I look forward to good convo with each of you!
-Ian

The Reflector Crash was given to me at a discounted price of $260 during Guitar Centers List sale. They go for a list price of $297.95 for the 18". The hats I got for $230 since they had been discontinued from Guitar Centers line, normally they go for about $350. And the Sig Crash I got for $210 since it had a little unnoticeable dent in the bell, list price of $250.

just curious, are these cymbals compatible with the A custom crashes from zildjian? cuz i'm a big fan of zildjian, but i want, later on, a Paiste crash to go along with my A custom crash. so i was just curious, and i've always wanted to have zildjian, sabian, and paiste, incorperated in one set-up. so far its been AAX, A custom, A series, HHX[doesnt really belong, i know now!!!] so i was just wondering if a custom and signature reflectors would blend good.

I've been playing Paiste cymbals since I started playing drums, and have a decent collections of Rude, 2002 and Dimensions series cymbals now.
Recently, I've been considering to start working on a collection of Sig's, which I don't have any of (apart from the 13" Mega Cup Chime and 12" Flanger bell). My only question now is whether to go after the reflector series, or the regular series of Signature cymbals. I'm assuming the sound would be pretty close between the two, and the only other dif would be that the reflector's are nicer in appearance (wet glass look) and much harder to keep clean (finger prints galore from choking etc). Any comments on this?
Thanks
