I've never owned a double chain dw, always had the single chain ones.

I've played around on the double chain ones, and they felt great.

A single chain Has less stability on the footboard and a double chain has more giving you
a smooth feel. But i would recommend a double chain because a single chain can break
pretty easy

any pedal will do, as long as you know how to set it up correctly according to feel and to what suits you best.
