sleishman has been making pedals for a long time and these are its most recent design. they've always done middle pedals though. the theory is that both pedals can feel exactly the same, and with their design they are both master pedals and not slaves. its a very cool theory and i would love to play those pedals.

funny you posted this. saw this in the last issue of modern drummer and i've been meaning to create a post about it...
i agree with the poster that said this looks extremely heavy... and i'm sure, for the price, you could get any other top of the line DP or an extra single pedal and an extra kick.

those have actually been around for a long time in one incarnation or another. I hate them! having the "pull" at an angle like that is extremely uncomfortable and inefficient.

I own a set.
Once I got used to sitting in the center of my kit, everything started falling into place. My floor tom is right next to me which is cool.
I used to play double bass drums. It is similar in position to that.
These pedals are not slow. They are very fast actually. I've added weights to them. This has given me the feel I need.
