I'm really curious about the direct drive pedals from yamaha. I know they get brought up from time to time but no one has anything to say about them. I think they'll be the next pedals I buy.

I have the Pearl P-2000B Belt-Drive and Chain PowerShifter Eliminator Bass Pedal.
I also have a DW5002 from the 1990's.
Lately I've been thinking of getting a newer DW 5002.
the Pearl seems kinda heavy and clunky to me.

I used to love the Camco with the round sprocket.

I've played on all three and out of them you can't go wrong with Iron Cobras. They are the most powerful pedal I've ever played on and they are silky-smooth! The other two are quality pedals, however.

I play Dee-dubs and love them! Though if I were you I would go and try different ones to get a feel for what you are looking for. P.O.Y!

Post Pedals
I have played on the best from Iron cobra, Pearl and DW and they are all absolutly amazing but the DW9000 is just unbelievable, I would take it any time over the other two.
