There is no best . . . only different (add Gong sound here!)
But really, I find something great it all types of cymbals -- from $400 crystal clear rides
to $10 trash can lid chinas. It's all in how you use them.

I love my AAX series. The AAX-plosion line is amazing.
I also just picked up Sabian AAX 14" Fast Hats - Can't wait to give them a go today.

^^ Rocktagon for the win!
I'm pretty sure someone on this board has a Rocktagon. I remember seeing one in the Show Us Your Kit section.

Zildjian 20" Zcustom ride is really bright sounding and has a nice bell ding to,also its got the best looking hammering .it' looks like sun beams curled half way back to the top.

well my favorite cymbal, would be my 21" Istanbul Agop Mel Lewis ride
I use it for all my jazz stuff and I have started using it for my rock stuff
I like the sound of a riveted ride in rock, it reminds me of Mitch Mitchell
anyway, it's probably not the best cymbal out there because you certainly couldn't play metal with it (it would probably crack with one gigantic hit)
but it is the best for me
